An honest Fansly review for fans and creators: how the legal adult subscription platform works, what it costs, which features stand out, and where it falls short.

Fansly is one of the main legal alternatives to OnlyFans. In short, it is a creator and fan subscription platform for adult content. Creators sell access through tiers, tips, messages and locked media. Fans follow for free or pay for deeper access. This Fansly review sticks to public facts from Fansly’s own help center and industry press. We do not invent prices or stats.

Fansly Review: What the Platform Is

Fansly sits in the same lane as other direct-to-fan adult sites. Creators post photos, video and other media. Meanwhile, fans can follow a page for free or subscribe to paid tiers. According to the Fansly Help Center, every visitor falls into one of three groups: users, free followers, or paying subscribers.

That free-follow option matters. For example, a fan can stay updated without paying until a promotion or unlocked post wins them over. Also, creators keep followers even after a paid plan expires. In other words, the audience does not vanish the moment billing stops.

Industry visibility has grown, too. XBIZ lists Fansly as presenter of the 2026 XMA Creator Awards in Miami Beach. That is a trade-show signal, not a quality guarantee. Still, it shows Fansly is treated as a major player in the creator economy.

Pricing and Creator Cut in This Fansly Review

Fan subscription prices are set by each creator. Fansly’s help docs state a public range of $5.00 to $499.99 per month per tier. Creators can also run public discounts, private offers, and multi-month plans (for example, 3- or 6-month discounts).

Locked media, often called PPV, uses a different band. Fansly says you can set a purchase price between $1 and $500 on posts or in DMs. Tip amounts are not spelled out as a single public range in the same articles, so we omit a tip price band here.

On the creator side, Fansly’s Getting Started guide is clear: creators receive 80% of revenue from subscriptions, sold media, messages and tips. The same page says there are no hidden fees for payouts, processing or currency conversion. Funds face a seven-day hold before they become available. For most serviced countries, the minimum payout is $20, and processing can take up to four business days. Deposits often appear under Select Media LLC.
