Kayden Kross Deeper Photo Book, Gallery Show & Equilibrium

Industry spotlight on the Kayden Kross Deeper news: the director launches a 448-page photo book and her first gallery show in Los Angeles. The launch follows her five-part feature Equilibrium.

Adult studios rarely step into art galleries. This month, the Kayden Kross Deeper launch did exactly that. The award-winning director unveiled Deeper, a 448-page hardcover photo book, at Wönzimer gallery in Los Angeles. Photographer Daren Cornell shot the images. Moreover, the event kicked off Gasplighting, her new cultural project. This post covers public career news only. It is not an endorsement by XStream.

Kayden Kross Deeper Photo Book Launch in Los Angeles

According to XBIZ and AVN, the book premiered on Thursday night in downtown L.A. Both outlets published their reports on Oct. 16, 2026. The book draws on nearly a decade of images from the Deeper studio library.

The public then had two nights to visit. The gallery listing shows free entry with RSVP on Oct. 16 and 17. Each night also featured a 7:30 p.m. panel with Kross, Cornell and guests, per a Vixen Media Group (VMG) release carried by ASN Hub.

The numbers were simple. XBIZ reported that copies of the book sold for $149 at the event. Meanwhile, framed prints carried a display price of $1,500 each. In fact, one print had already sold by the time XBIZ walked the floor.

How Daren Cornell Shaped the Deeper Look

Cornell has shot for Deeper since its 2018 launch, XBIZ and VMG say. However, he was not her first choice. Kross told XBIZ she interviewed about 20 photographers before him. His first image, of Riley Reid, changed her mind.

Kross explained the bond in her own words:

“We have a shorthand at this point.”

She also praised the medium itself. “Photography forces you to look so much longer than the moving image,” she told XBIZ. Similarly, Cornell said hanging prints makes viewers “slow down” instead of swiping past. Notably, XBIZ says this was his first gallery show of adult industry photography.

What Gasplighting Adds to the Story

The book is part of a wider project. Kross announced Gasplighting in a Sept. 10, 2026 press release. It calls the effort a multidisciplinary cultural project about bodies, intimacy and inherited beliefs. Partners named in the release include Deeper, Eat Me Cookies, Banana Split, Widow (film) and Bellesa.

In the release, Kross summed up the idea:

“This project asks what happens when we stop outsourcing our understanding of ourselves and begin trusting our own lived experiences instead.”

Furthermore, she told XBIZ the movement is not political. Instead, it started as a conversation on an Instagram handle. The Gasplighting site lists New York and Miami shows as “coming soon.” AVN also reports that the exhibition will travel to both cities next.

Equilibrium and the Kayden Kross Deeper Catalog

The gallery night doubled as a celebration of Equilibrium. This is her five-part Deeper feature, which XBIZ calls a fantasy built on Jungian ideas and archetypes. Jewel Diamant, Jessi Rae and Serenity Cox play three sisters. Jason Luv plays the philosopher between them.

Episode 1 premiered on July 16, 2026, according to the VMG launch release. Later episodes followed through September. At the gallery, the four leads joined a panel after a trailer screening, XBIZ reports.

Equilibrium also fits a long run of features. The same release lists past titles such as Muse, Drift, Drive and Psychosexual. Deeper also keeps adding names to its roster. For example, our Violet Voss Deeper debut spotlight covered one recent arrival.
